The Auto Ordnance Thompson 1927A-1 Deluxe is a semi-automatic rifle that reproduces the classic Thompson design in a modern civilian configuration. Chambered in .45 ACP it features a 16.5-inch finned barrel with a permanently affixed Cutts compensator a blued steel receiver and frame and American walnut furniture. The fixed buttstock pistol grip and vertical foregrip provide the traditional Thompson profile while the blade front sight and open adjustable rear sight support practical target acquisition. One 20-round stick magazine is included.
